WSI Smart Solutions joined the Livermore Chamber of Commerce in July 2005. The owner, Thomas W. Petty is an Ambassador with the Chamber and works closely with them to promote the Chamber and business functions within the city.

WSI Smart Solutions's owner, Thomas W. Petty, is a Certified Usability Analyst™ (CUA) through Human Factors International. He is the only CUA in WSI, and there are only approximately 1200 CUAs in the world. This certification required rigorous instruction, and a timed examination. This certification program was completed in September, 2006.
